We had so many giggles over this pair of cowboy boots last year in Banff! As Rob, Jen and I were walking down Banff Avenue we noticed this man moving along ahead of us, so obviously proud of the boots he was wearing. His jeans were tucked in so that the boots were on full display and he was STRUTTING! It was very amusing to watch and he was turning heads for sure. One cheeky teenager even dared to do an imitation after the "cowboy" had passed by him.
At the time, Jen and I were taking daily photos for our Project 365 layouts (which, by the way, I have not worked on in over four months!) and we commented that it would be great to have a shot of those boots. Rob immediately went into stealth mode. Holding the camera down low, he followed the man as he walked into a shop, and was able to get this great photo from the doorway.
It's obvious that the cowboy wanted his spiffy boots to be noticed, but I'm sure he'd never imagine the impression that they made on Jen and I! LOL
I used this week's sketch from The Scrappiest - #120:
I could never figure out what papers to use to scrap this photo but after looking at the Counterfeit Kit that I put together this month, I knew right away that I'd found the perfect mix of papers!
Until next time...
